Arnott Conveyors are delighted to share this multi-level conveyor system that the team have recently designed, built and installed for one of Europe’s leading bakery groups.
This multiple conveyor system and supporting framework has been designed to our usual rigorous food safety standards and crafted to fit in to an existing factory space. It has been built specifically to integrate with a state of the art, high speed production line.
Frozen bread pucks are taken from the high-level and low-level freezer discharge points and declined or elevated to the combined mid-level conveyor using modular paddled belts. Once transported overhead through the factory the product is then declined back to ground level and presented for sorting.
After sorting and metal detection the still frozen pucks are transferred through 1800 for slicing and packing via two high-speed modular horseshoe conveyors. Once sliced, our collator conveyor presents the required quantity of pucks for packing which are then packed and placed onto our powered roller conveyors, taking the packed product for palletisation.
